What makes these pens special
The Aurora Twins are a unique pair of handcrafted Vanguard rollerball pens cast from the same resin. Although they share the same origins, the colours and patterns developed differently during the casting process, resulting in two distinct pens that complement one another beautifully.
Rich emerald greens, deep sapphire blues and shimmering gold tones flow through each pen in ever-changing patterns, evoking the spectacle of the Aurora Borealis dancing across the night sky. One pen features bold bands of colour that sweep dramatically through the resin, while the other displays a different balance of colours and movement, making each pen an individual work of art.
Sold together as a matching pair, the Aurora Twins offer something rarely found in handmade pens: two pens that are clearly related, yet completely unique.
Who this pen set is for
The Aurora Twins are ideal for collectors, couples, business partners, or anyone looking for a distinctive gift with a meaningful connection. They are perfect for those who appreciate handmade craftsmanship and enjoy owning pieces that share a story while retaining their own individuality.
Whether kept together as a display set or shared between two people, these pens make a memorable and highly personal gift.
Why choose a rollerball pen?
Rollerball pens combine the smooth, effortless writing experience of a fountain pen with the convenience and reliability of a ballpoint. The liquid ink flows freely across the page, producing crisp, vibrant lines with minimal writing pressure.
The Vanguard rollerball offers excellent balance and comfort, making it equally suited to everyday writing, journaling, correspondence, and professional use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these pens identical?
No. Both pens were created from the same resin casting, but the colours and patterns settled differently during the curing process, making each pen unique.
Will I receive the exact pens shown?
Yes. Unless otherwise stated, you will receive the exact pair pictured.
Can the rollerball refills be replaced?
Yes. The pens accept standard rollerball refills, making them easy to maintain and enjoy for years to come.
Why are they sold as a pair?
The two pens share the same casting and were created together. Their related but different appearances make them a natural pair, telling a story that would be incomplete if separated.
Maker's Story
Some of the most interesting creations emerge when a single process produces unexpected individuality. The Aurora Twins began as one resin casting, with vibrant green, blue and gold pigments poured together to create a flowing landscape of colour.
As the resin cured, the pigments moved and settled in their own way, creating two distinct patterns. When the blanks were turned and polished, it became clear that they belonged together. Neither pen is a duplicate of the other, yet both clearly share the same origins.
Rather than separate them, I chose to keep them together as a matched pair. The result is a set of pens that celebrates both connection and individuality — two handcrafted writing instruments that tell the same story from different perspectives.
