Maker’s Story
Brass in Pocket began as an experiment in scale and material. I wanted to create a truly pocketable pen that still felt solid and well-balanced, using brass not just as an accent, but as a defining feature.
The resin body was hand-shaped and polished to complement the weight and warmth of the brass, with the final form guided by feel as much as by measurements. The aim was always practicality first — a pen that could be carried daily — without sacrificing craftsmanship or character.
Along the way, I experimented with different colours and resin combinations. One of those experiments didn’t quite turn out as intended. Rather than discard it, I’ve chosen to include that pen as a giveaway — a small glimpse into the trial-and-error that sits behind every finished piece.
Every pen tells a story. Some are polished conclusions, others are footnotes. Both matter.
Giveaway – The Experimental Pen
Alongside Brass in Pocket, I’ll be giving away a second Brass in Pocket pen that didn’t quite make the grade. It’s fully functional, but the colour and resin combination didn’t come together as planned.
