Maker’s Story
The Compact was born from a simple challenge: How small can I go without sacrificing the feel of a proper, quality pen? I wanted something practical, something you could carry anywhere without even thinking about it — but still unmistakably handmade.
When I found this shimmering blue-violet blank, it instantly reminded me of deep-space photographs: swirling stars, nebulae and cosmic dust. Pairing it with antique brass felt like the right contrast — old-world explorer meets infinite possibilities.
 
Turning this little pen on the lathe was a delicate job. Smaller pieces are less forgiving, but that’s half the fun. The result is a pen that proves compact doesn’t mean compromised. It’s pocket-sized, but full of character.
