Some blanks sit quietly on the shelf.
This one didn’t.
The colours immediately stood out — the way the blue seemed to glow against the magenta, with darker currents running through like deep space beneath a nebula. It felt energetic before it ever touched the lathe.
 
Turning it was about restraint. With resin like this, remove too much, and the drama disappears; shape it carefully,y and the movement comes alive. As the profile formed, the swirling pattern revealed more depth with each pass, like discovering layers in a distant galaxy.
 
When polished to its final gloss, the finish became almost liquid — light dancing across the surface and amplifying the illusion of motion.
The name came naturally.
