Maker's Story
I wanted this pen to have character.
The acrylic immediately caught my attention. The rich emerald green provides the foundation, but as the pen is turned, flashes of blue, yellow and red appear through the swirling pattern. Every part of the material has something different going on.
Then came the cats.
The antique-gold-toned fittings are covered with little feline details and paw prints, but the feature I love most is the clip — a cat's tail curling gracefully around the pen.
It is one of those pens where the closer you look, the more you discover.
That's what I enjoy about making pens. I don't want to simply produce something that writes. I want to make something that people enjoy picking up, turning over in their hands and looking at.
