Rooted in the Cornish landscape, the Pencarrow Pine captures a moment of nature preserved in motion. A genuine fir cone, gathered from the grounds of Pencarrow, is set within flowing resin—its structure suspended like a fossil beneath shifting tones of green and sunlit yellow.

The polished chrome hardware brings contrast and balance, allowing the organic centrepiece to take focus. Every angle reveals something different—texture, depth, and the quiet complexity of the natural world.

This is more than a pen; it’s a small piece of Cornwall, shaped to be held and used.

Maker’s Story

This pen began with a walk.

The fir cone was collected from Pencarrow in Cornwall—one of those places where nature feels layered with history. I wanted to preserve not just the object itself, but the feeling of finding it: texture underfoot, filtered light through trees, that mix of green and gold all around.

The Hamer style felt like the right fit—solid, grounded, and substantial in the hand. It gives the piece presence, while the resin allows the cone to sit almost suspended in time.

Each one is unique. No two cones, no two patterns—just a moment, captured.
