Yes. The photographs show the actual pen available for purchase. I don't use computer-generated images to represent my finished pens — what you see is what I made.
Can I use bottled ink?
Yes. The pen is supplied with a refillable piston converter, allowing you to fill it from a bottle of fountain pen ink.
It can also be used with suitable fountain pen ink cartridges if you prefer the convenience of cartridges.
What nib does it have?
The pen is fitted with a fountain pen nib designed to provide a smooth and enjoyable writing experience. If you have a particular nib preference, please contact me before purchasing and I'll be happy to discuss the available options.

Maker's Story
There are some pens that are simply designed to look good.
And then there are pens that seem to have a personality before you've even put them on paper.
The British Racer is definitely one of those.
The deep green immediately suggested British Racing Green to me — that wonderfully British colour associated with some of the most famous cars and racing teams in motorsport history.
Add the polished metalwork, the substantial proportions and a fountain pen nib, and you've got something that feels less like an everyday stationery item and more like a miniature piece of engineering sitting on your desk.
Of course, unlike a racing car, it doesn't require a pit crew, a helmet or several thousand pounds worth of fuel.
Just some ink.
