This pen has taken a long time to materialise. It is made from Kirinite pearl acrylic. The addition of pearlescent additives in subtly different colours creates a beautiful mother-of-pearl effect within the blank once finished. It is notoriously hard to work with, and after eight separate attempts, I got one completed—well, nearly. It is not perfect, and there are a few details I'm not happy with, so it's being sold at a reduced price as imperfect. 
 
Each fountain pen is presented in an elegant velvet-lined, spring-loaded case and comes with a soft velvet drawstring pouch, delivering a luxurious, personalised writing experience from start to finish.
