This feline-inspired rollerball pen has been a true labour of love, crafted with care and a dash of whimsy. After months of dedication, it's finally here to delight cat lovers and pen enthusiasts alike!
 
I first started this pen alongside the fountain pen in the summer of last year and left it to one side.
 
Over time, it moved to different places and eventually was misplaced. When doing that rare job of tidying my workshop, I came across a small bag, and I then remembered what it was, so I decided to put the time and effort into finishing the job.
 
Feedback from some of my regular customers is that they like to feel the texture of the wood and are not overly keen on highly polished and sealed pens. So, unlike sealed woods, the wood will absorb the user's oils over time, gradually darkening and forging a unique connection between the pen and its owner. The absence of sealing also allows users to appreciate the tactile experience of the wood's natural grain, as you write.
