Maker’s Story
Some blanks shout at you from across the workshop — this was one of them.
When I first saw the raw material, the vivid green almost looked unreal, almost radioactive under the workshop lights. Highly patterned resin can be risky; turn it carelessly and you lose the drama. So I worked this one slowly, deliberately revealing the pattern with each pass of the tool.
As the layers opened up, the depth and movement emerged — lime flashes blending into deeper forest currents beneath. It felt like there was something mischievous hiding inside the blank… which is exactly how it earned its name.
 
Once polished to a high gloss, the colour truly came alive. Every angle tells a slightly different story.
