Maker’s Story
Some blanks are subtle. This wasn’t one of them.
From the moment I saw the raw material, the colour demanded attention — vivid pinks and blues swirling together with dramatic black veins. The challenge with such a bold blank is restraint. Turn too much away, and you lose the drama; turn too little,e and it feels unfinished.
I shaped this one slowly, watching the pattern evolve with each pass of the tool. As the polish built up, the depth began to reveal itself — layers of shimmer and movement that only truly come alive under a high-gloss finish.
 
When it finally came off the lathe and caught the light, it felt like a carnival after dark — vibrant, energetic, and impossible to ignore. The name arrived almost immediately.
