Maker’s Story
This blank was about clarity.
No swirls. No chaos. Just a bold meeting of colour — a clean divide that had to be perfectly aligned when turned. With a split design like this, there is nowhere to hide; if the proportions are wrong, the entire piece feels off balance.
As the resin came down to the final dimension on the lathe, the “meridian” line sharpened and became purposeful. The transition from yellow to blue felt like sky meeting sun at the horizon.
The Vanguard hardware demanded precision in assembly. The knurled rose-gold cap gives the pen its engineered authority, so every fit and alignment had to be exact.
