I’d recently worked on a pen commission for a motorsport enthusiast and had a leftover section of carbon fibre printed tube, too good to toss aside. The moment I held it up under the workshop lights, I saw its potential: a tightly woven, matte-black pattern that caught the light with just a hint of depth and movement. After carefully cutting, sanding, edging, polishing, and then finishing, I paired it with bright chrome to echo the clean lines of a performance car. The result: sleek, stylish, and quietly powerful.
