Why isn't the walnut sealed?
Leaving the walnut unsealed allows you to experience the timber naturally. As the wood absorbs tiny amounts of the natural oils from your hands, it gradually deepens in colour and develops its own individual character.
Will the wood become damaged?
No. Walnut is an excellent hardwood for pens. Regular handling simply gives it a richer, warmer appearance that many woodworkers actively seek.
Can I replace the refill?
